Ambassador-designate of Thailand attended the Grand Opening Ceremony  of Ar Yu International Hospital in Yangon

On 17 March 2019, H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Myanmar attended the Grand Opening Ceremony of Ar Yu International Hospital in Yangon.
H.E. Dr. Myint Htwe, Union Minister of Health and Sports of Myanmar, H.E. U Phyo Min Thein, Chief Minister of Yangon Region, Dr. Boon Vanasin, Chairman of Thonburi Healthcare Group Public Company Limited, and U Nay Lynn Oo, Chairman of Ar Yu International Hospital also attended this event.

Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Myanmar congratulated on the grand opening of Ar Yu International Hospital in Yangon. This hospital would mark another success of business cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand. This hospital would be a part of the development of high standard and affordable medical and healthcare services in Myanmar which reflected a success towards Goal 4 of Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP)
on Human Resources and Social Development for a 21st Century Society. This hospital
would also strengthen ASEAN Community that is people-centered and prospers with
healthy population which Thailand, as a Chair of ASEAN in the year of 2019, proposed to achieve this goal.

Ar Yu International Hospital in Yangon was established under the joint venture between Thonburi Healthcare Group Public Company Limited from Thailand and Ga Mone Pwint (GMP) Company Limited from Myanmar. This 200-bed hospital provides medical treatment and healthcare services including Heart Center, Liver Center, Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, and Wellness Center. Thai hospitals
are well-recognized among Myanmar people for many years because of their modern and quality medical treatment and healthcare services with warm and friendly hospitality.
