A four day exhibition of top Thai brands will be held at Myanmar Event Park from 24-27 March 2016

A four-day exhibition of top Thai brands will be held at Myanmar Event Park from March 24 to 27, event organisers said.

“The exhibition aims to bridge the gap between local small and medium enterprises. There will be a promotion of Thai food also,” said Minister Counsellor (Commercial) PakainayLeng-EE of Thailand Trade Office.

During the exhibition, there will be an exchange of technology as well as conferences for businesspersons of SMEs of both countries.

Motor vehicles and spare parts, construction materials, building materials, electronic appliances, food and beverages, textile and fashion accessories from 205 companies will be displayed.

“To be able to penetrate the local market, not like the previous exhibitions with ordinary products, but top branded products will be displayed specially,” U Myo Thant, a member of UMFCCI, said.

“Thailand has been conducting trade exhibition in Myanmar since 1998 continuously, but this year’s exhibition is not like the previous ones.”

Patrons will get a chance to taste Thai cuisine and there will also be lucky draw programs.
