Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon Promotes Construction Sector and Related Sectors in Myanmar

On 28 September 2017, Mr. Narong Boonsatheanwong, Minister, Royal Thai Embassy, Yangon, delivered the congratulatory remarks at the opening ceremony of the 4th Myanmar Build & Décor 2017, organized by Index Creative Village Co. Ltd. The purpose of the event was to promote business networking, expand trade and investment opportunities in the construction sector, interior design and interior decoration industry, as well as furniture industry. It was organized at Myanmar Event Park and showcased over 200 brands from both local and international companies, including those from China, Singapore, Japan, and Thailand. Representatives from related Myanmar agencies gave importance to the event and also attended. They include U Aung Myint, President of the Myanmar Engineering Society, U Sun Oo, President of the Association of Myanmar Architects, U Nyein Aung, President of the Myanmar Associateship of Government Technical Institute Society, U Tin Aung, Secretary of the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association, and Daw Mi Mi Tin, Director from the Ministry of Construction.
