The 3 days event of Myanmar’s largest International Food & Hospitality Trade Exhibition “Food & Myanmar 2019” will held in Yangon from 5th to 7th June 2019

Preparations are underway for the Myanmar’s Largest International Food & Hospitality Trade Exhibition “Food & Myanmar 2019”.

The upcoming one at the Myanmar Expo exhibition space is the 6th International Exhibition for food & Drink, Hotel, Bakery, Restaurant & Food Service Equipment, Supplies and Services. Officials from Myanmar Restaurant Association, Myanmar Chef Association and UBM Myanmar and many other associations led the press conference on the upcoming exhibition.

Vice-Chairman (2), Myanmar Restaurant Association, Myat Swe Myint said “It’ll be a great event for all related food industries. We can get equipments, technologies and opportunities. The event will bring many benefits to all. Our Myanmar Restaurant Association will participate with a booth for knowledge sharing.”

The exhibition 2019 will include the 6th Myanmar Culinary Arts Competition 2019, session of Coffee & Tea Myanmar 2019 and the 1st of Myanmar National Latte Art Championship as the new special activities.

Executive Chef, Myanmar Chef Association, Romeo said “This is really nice and very good opportunities for our young chefs and the other chefs because this competition can grow up some of the qualities of our Myanmar Chefs.”

Over 100 exhibitors from 21 countries will display over 1,500 products and services. It will also feature 5 international Pavilions from India, Korea, Philippines, Singapore and USA as well as many other beneficial seminars. 

Director, UBM Myanmar, Nyein Nyein Aye said “We mainly focus on the development of food related industries. Tourism business and Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions business are also developing in our country. So, this is the trade platforms for local and international entrepreneurs.”

The 3-day Myanmar’s Largest International Food & Hospitality Trade Exhibition “Food & Myanmar 2019” at the Fortune Plaza is set to run from the 5th to the 7th of June.
