Ministry of Commerce increased trade service charges when Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 officially launched on 1 November

The Ministry of Commerce will scale up the trade service fees when Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 will be officially launched on 1 November.
To facilitate the National Single Window, have a single entry in trading and digitize the licencing system and related businesses, the Trade Department under the Ministry of Commerce will officially launch Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 portal on 1 November.
The first one is to sign up Myanmar Tradenet member, and export/import and related business licences will be carried out digitally.
The trade service fees for online licencing including Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 portal will be raised from 1 November. The annual membership fees of Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 will increase to K15,000 from K13,000. Similarly, online service will also cost K3,000 instead of K2,500, the trade department stated.
Furthermore, the department hiked up the fees for extension of export/import licence and the licence amendment to K5,000 within eight days to one month after the expired date. It will be charged K10,000 for more than one month after the due date.
Nevertheless, other fees will remain unchanged, the trade department notified. (Translated by Ei Myat Mon)
