BMW Motorcar Company has opened the first showroom/service center in Yangon

World-famous Germany-based BMW Motorcar Company’s the first showroom, service center and S3 center that include spare parts was opened in Yangon on November 15 at the corner of Narnattaw Road and Pyay Road, Kamayut Township, according to Prestige Automobiles Co., Ltd.

At the showroom, brand new cars of BMW like: 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series and 7 Series Saloon as well as SUV types – X-1, X-3, X-4, and X-5 will be sold. Prices range from US$70,000 to 550,000, said Chan Mya, Managing Director of Prestige Automobiles. For servicing, these cars will receive three-year free repair, maintenance and warranty. After-sales-service includes repairing and maintenance for body and engine. It is also planned to import and sell i-3 model electronic-energy-used BMW car depending on the market.

Prestige Automobiles Co., Ltd agreed to be the sole distributor of BMW and will accomplish servicing workshop using advanced tools and equipment under BMW’s technics through BMW Car Showroom opened according to BMW Group’s standards. BMW Company is based in Munich, Germany and founded in March, 1916. It is a manufacturer of luxury cars, motorcycles and bicycles. BMW Company is a world-famous brand that manufactured over 1.6 million motorcars in 2013. Prestige Automobiles Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Octagon International Service Company. Octagon International Service Company is a distributor of machinery and vehicles from World-Top European Companies and it also accomplishes servicing by opening international-standard After Sale Service Centers in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay.
