  Date: 8-11 February, 2016 Venue: Mandalay University As part of the UNICEF/University of Melbourne Language, Education and Social Cohesion project, a major International conference on language policy in multicultural and multilingual settings is being held at the University of Mandalay, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar on February 8-11, 2016. The focus of the LESC Initiative has been a nation-wide process of language policy development. Since 2013 facilitated dialogues have taken place across The Republic of the Union of Myanmar to build a peace-promoting multilingual national policy which will be a key focus of discussion at the Mandalay Conference.
