  ยุทธศาสตร์ด้านเศรษฐกิจและประเด็นที่พรรค NLD ให้ความสำคัญ เสถียรภาพ การเปิดเสรีทางเศรษฐกิจ และการเสริมสร้างสถาบันด้านการคลัง

  ภาพรวม พรรค NLD มุ่งเสริมสร้างเศรษฐกิจของเมียนมา ยกระดับมาตรฐานการครองชีพ ขยายโอกาส และสร้างความหวังให้แก่ประชาชน ด้วยยุทธศาสตร์ที่ส่งเสริมการทำงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพของภาครัฐ และเสริมสร้างสถาบันที่จำเป็นต่อการเจริญเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจอย่างจริงจัง เพื่อผลประโยชน์ของส่วนร่วม โดยยุทธศาสตร์แบ่งออกเป็น ๖ เสา ดังนี้

  กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญที่รัฐบาลไทยให้กับการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์กับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน โดยเฉพาะการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิดระหว่างประชาชน และการขยายโอกาส ทางธุรกิจผ่านอุตสาหกรรมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ หรือ MICE โดยนายนพรัตน์ เมธาวีกุลชัย ผู้อำนวยการ สสปน. ได้กล่าวสนับสนุนความเชื่อมโยงในภูมิภาค และการส่งเสริม MICE ในอาเซียน โดยไทยเป็นสถานที่มีอุตสาหกรรมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการที่เข้มแข็ง มีความพร้อมด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน และระบบการบริการที่เป็นมืออาชีพ
