On 17 March 2016, the Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) Yangon Representative Office organized a seminar on “FDI in Myanmar and the Experiences of Thai Businesses in Myanmar” at the Royal Thai Embassy. The seminar included talks by H.E. Mr. PisanuSuvanajata, Ambassador of Thailand to Yangon, and Mr. NattawinPhongphetrarat, Vice President of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM). It was attended by 20 senior fund managers from Thailand’s leading asset management companies, who were in Myanmar to explore investment opportunities.
