งานสัมมนาพิเศษ หัวข้อ "5 Key Investment Sectors by Thai Investors in Myanmar"
เมื่อวันที่ 29 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2563 นางสุพัตรา ศรีไมตรีพิทักษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนาพิเศษ หัวข้อ "5 Key Investment Sectors by Thai Investors in Myanmar" ซึ่งเป็นงานสัมมนาพิเศษที่สมาคมนักธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมาจัดให้แก่สมาชิกสมาคม และ ผู้จัดร่วม สมาคมบริษัทจดทะเบียนไทย (TLCA) ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ทางสมาคมฯ งานสัมมนาครั้งนี้ คือภาคต่อจากงานสัมมนา Myanmar Insight 2019 ทางสมาคมฯ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ท่าน Daw Tin Aye Han, DDG of DICA และ วิทยากรพิเศษจากภาคเอกชนทั้งไทยและเมียนมา

เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๒ นางสุพัตรา ศรีไมตรีพิทักษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้ต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจากหลักสูตรควบปริญญาตรี-โท คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ณ ที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับผู้เล่นสำคัญและบทบาทต่อความเคลื่อนไหวการเมือง พัฒนาการทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา ซึ่งรวมถึงการประกาศและขับเคลื่อนแผนพัฒนาเมียนมาอย่างยั่งยืน (Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan-MSDP) ระหว่างปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๑๘-๒๐๓๐ นอกจากนี้ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้บรรยายสรุปภาพรวมการค้าและการลงทุนของไทยในเมียนมา และผู้แทนจากสมาคมนักธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมา (Thai Business Association of Myanmar-TBAM) ได้บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินธุรกิจของผู้ประกอบการไทยในเมียนมา ทั้งเรื่องเงินทุนและกลยุทธ์ทางการตลาด พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นกับคณะนักศึกษาด้วย
Minister of Transport of Thailand signed the MoU on The Management, Maintenance and Use of the Second Myanmar - Thai Friendship Bridge Crossing Thaungyin/Moei River
On 2 October 2019, in Nay Pyi Taw, H.E. Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport of Thailand, and H.E. U Han Zaw, Union Minister for Construction of Myanmar, signed the MoU on The Management, Maintenance and Use of the Second Myanmar - Thai Friendship Bridge Crossing Thaungyin/Moei River between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at Ministry of Construction of Myanmar. The Agreement established rules and regulations for both sides on the use and maintenance of the bridge. The Opening Ceremony of the Second Friendship Bridge will take place on 30 October 2019. The bridge, once in use, will facilitate transportation of passengers and goods, boosting border trade at Mae Sot – Myawaddy area by 5-8 per cent. It will also further enhance the East - West Economic Corridor – EWEC connectivity.
The 9th Myanmar-Thailand Joint Coordinating Meeting for the Comprehensive Development in the Dawei Special Economic Zone and Its Related Project Areas
On 3 October 2019, H.E. Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport of Thailand led a delegation to Myanmar to attend the 9th Myanmar-Thailand Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting for the Comprehensive Development in the Dawei Special Economic Zone and Its Related Project Areas, co-chairing with H.E. Dr. Than Myint, Union Minister for Commerce of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.
เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ร่วมงาน Dinner Talk “Investment Opportunities in Myanmar & Business Rules and Regulations for Investment in Myanmar” จัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน
เมื่อวันที่ ๕ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๒ นางสุพัตรา ศรีไมตรีพิทักษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้เข้าร่วม งาน Dinner Talk “Investment Opportunities in Myanmar & Business Rules and Regulations for Investment in Myanmar”จัดโดยสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน โดยมีนายวรกาญจน์ โกศล พิศิษฐ์กุล นักวิชาการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (ชำนาญการพิเศษ) นาย Aung Kyi Soeเลขาธิการสหพันธ์สภาหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมเมียนมา (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry – UMFCCI)นายสรศักดิ์ กีรติโชคชัยกุล นายกสมาคมนักธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมา (Thai Business Association of Myanmar – TBAM) และคณะนักธุรกิจไทยและเมียนมาประมาณ ๕๐ คน เข้าร่วมงาน ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้กล่าวเปิดงานดังกล่าวและชี้ให้เห็นว่า เมียนมาเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่มีพัฒนาการด้านเศรษฐกิจที่ดีและเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางที่สำคัญในการเข้ามาลงทุนและดำเนินธุรกิจ ประเทศหนึ่งในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยที่ผ่านมา เมียนมาได้ปรับแก้และออกกฎระเบียบต่าง ๆ ที่เอื้อต่อการลงทุนจากต่างชาติมากขึ้น ได้แก่ การออกกฎหมายบริษัท (Companies Law) การออกกฎหมายการลงทุน (Investment Law) การออกแผนพัฒนาเมียนมาอย่างยั่งยืน (Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan – MSDP) แผนส่งเสริมการลงทุนเมียนมา (Myanmar Investment Promotion Plan) รวมทั้งการก่อตั้งกระทรวงการลงทุนและความสัมพันธ์เศรษฐกิจระหว่างประเทศ (Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations – MIFER) นอกจากนี้ ผู้แทนจากสมาคมนักธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมายังได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ในการลงทุนของภาคธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมาด้วย

On 18 July 2019 at 14.00 hrs., H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmarjoined Ambassadors and representatives of Embassies of ASEAN Countries in Myanmar to pay a Joint Courtesy Call on H.E. U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER) and Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC). U Zaw Min Win, President of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Dr. Aung Tun Thet, Chief Coordinator, Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development in Rakhine (UEHRD), U Aye Lwin, member of MIC and Dr. MarlarMyoNyunt, Deputy Director-General, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) also attended this event.
เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง พบหารือกับกลุ่มนักธุรกิจไทยจากเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษติละวา
เมื่อวันที่ ๔ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๒ นางสุพัตรา ศรีไมตรีพิทักษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้พบหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นและประสบการณ์ในการดำเนินธุรกิจกับกลุ่มนักธุรกิจไทยจากเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษติละวา (Thilawa Special Economic Zone) โดยมีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และสำนักงานพาณิชย์ ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ผู้แทนจากสมาคมนักธุรกิจไทยในเมียนมา (Thai Business Association of Myanmar – TBAM) และผู้แทนจากสำนักงานผู้แทนธนาคารไทยในกรุงย่างกุ้งทั้ง ๖ แห่ง เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าว ในการนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เน้นย้ำถึงแนวทางการดำเนินธุรกิจที่ยั่งยืนบนพื้นฐานของการมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมร่วมกับประเทศเจ้าบ้าน ตลอดจนการพัฒนาบุคลากรและการสร้างงานสร้างอาชีพให้กับคนในท้องถิ่นด้วย ภายใต้แนวทางของรัฐบาลไทยในการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมร่วมกันกับประเทศผู้ร่วมมือของไทยหรือที่เรียกว่า “Thailand + 1” และการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาความร่วมมือโดยการใช้ปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงด้วย
