Ambassador Gives Interview to Myanmar Business Partners Magazine

On 21 March 2018, Ambassador Jukr Boon-Long gave an interview to Myanmar Business Partners magazine on the excellent state of Thai-Myanmar relations. In particular, he spoke of Myanmar’s importance to Thailand as a natural strategic partner and the regular exchange of high-level visits. This year, Thailand and Myanmar’s relationship has reached another milestone as we celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-Myanmar diplomatic relations. The Royal Thai Embassy is organizing a variety of events to celebrate this auspicious occasion, including masked dance performances, a Thai film festival, painting exhibition with leading artists from both sides, and a Thai food festival. The Embassy will alsocontinue its policy to encourage the large Thai business community in Myanmar to implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to support health, education, capacity building, and sustainable development in Myanmar.
