Chargé d’affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon  attended “Myanmar CP Sustainable Development Goal”

On 21 December 2018, Mr. Narong Boonsatheanwong, Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i., of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, attended “Myanmar CP Sustainable Development Goal” upon the invitation of “Myanmar CP Livestock Co., LTD.” at Signature Fine Dining and Garden Bistro, Yangon.Thepurpose of this event was to promote the corporate social responsibility(CSR) activities of Myanmar CP Livestock Co., LTD., which aims to support sustainable development through  projects such as “Your Blood Can Save Lives”, “Milk For Kids”, “Food For Life”, and “Local Village Fund”.

Apart from supporting the Thai private sector in their business activities in Myanmar, the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon has consistently encouraged the Thai private sector in Myanmar to implement CSR activities to give back to Myanmar society, which would strengthen the relationship between Thailand and Myanmar at all levels and dimensions for joint prosperity and sustainability. Public – private – people partnerships has also been promoted in terms of using the sufficiency economy philosophy to achieve 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs.
