The 7th edition of Myanmar Phar-Med Expo 2019 & Myanmar Lab Expo 2019 was held in Yangon

Myanmar Phar-Med Expo 2019 & Myanmar Lab Expo 2019 began on Thursday in Yangon.

Organized by Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertisement Services Co., Ltd (VEAS) with the support from Myanmar Pharmaceuticals Association, this is the 7th International Exhibition and Conference on Pharmaceutical, Medical & Laboratory Industry for Myanmar.

Business Development Manager, VEAS, Hpone Myat said “This is the 7th Expo of ours. This year, we invited 11 countries with advance technologies and products. In this expo, there’re consultants for pharmaceutical manufacturers - advance technologies for hospitals and medical devices for healthcare industry are on display here with about 35 booths. Seminars are included as well.”

The biggest trade fair for the medical industry in Myanmar, this 7th edition of Myanmar Phar-Med & Myanmar Lab Expo has been more expanded in terms of scales and the exhibitor number. This is a truly-focused platform that brings together an international congregation of companies on hospital, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, medical and laboratory sectors and related industries to showcase the latest innovations of its kind in Myanmar. 

Corporate Medical Director, Right Healthcare Limited, Dr. Sein Hla Kyaw said “This expo includes laboratory sector and I hope we are going to get many opportunities for the medical industry of Myanmar. Such an expo like this with knowledge sharing, interactive programs, expanding medical products between the entities can help pharmaceutical, medical and laboratory industry develop.”

About 500 brands from different countries and regions including Italy, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea are displaying the latest products, state-of-the-art equipment and technologies at the expo.

Head of Project, Healthppy, Dr. Linn Zaw Myo said “We can make networking and meet up with so many medical related professionals here. That’s why I’ve participated and introduced my products today - we have hospital management software and health care mobile application for the patients. Using the app, patients can save time in healthcare services.”

The 3-day 2019 edition Myanmar Phar-Me & Myanmar Lab Expo is set to run from till the 7th of September at Rose Garden Hotel with free entry.
