Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) acceptes visa extension of foreign staff and management experts

DICA has accepted VISA extension of foreign staff and management experts that not later than five days prior to VISA expiry date.

The companies shall submit the application as follows;

1. Fill the application form accordingly and the form shall be signed by the company officer (e.g., Managing Director, Director or Authorized officer, etc.). Application form can be downloaded here: https://www.dica.gov.mm/en/news/announcement-companies-0.
2. Fill contact telephone number and email clearly.
3. For the VISA extension of company officers/ members, and their family members, company registration certificate shall be submitted together with application form.
4. For the first time appointment of foreign staff who do not have professional certificates, the application shall be submitted with the recommendation of company officer.
5. For the VISA extension of employees of company, it will be required to submit documents relating to business operation (e.g., Contracts, Agreement, Invoice, License, Permit, etc.)
6. Reference letter number of the submitted applications will be announced on https://www.dica.gov.mm/en/topic/list-recommended-companies-visa-ministry-labour

This announcement shall effect for the COVID-19 period prescribed by the government only.
