Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) will change the auto telephone numbers to updated exchanges in order to give better and upgraded services to customers

Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) announced that it will change the auto telephone numbers to updated exchanges in order to give better and upgraded services to customers.

MPT said that IP system NGN (Next Generation Network) Mayangone (SoftSwitch) exchange will be replaced with MSAN (Multi Service Access Node), while Kyimyindaing RSU numbers (50xxxx, 51xxxx, 52xxxx, 53xxxx) of Hanthawaddy S-12 exchange will be changed to Mayangone (SoftSwitch) exchange numbers (931-7xxx) on November 20.

IP system NGN (Next Generation Network) Ahlone (SoftSwitch) exchange will be replaced with MSAN (Multi Service Access Node). NEAX-61 Container exchange numbers (214xxx, 215xxx, 216xxx, 217xxx) will be changed to Ahlone ZXSS10SS1B numbers (213-4xxx, 213-5xxx, 213-6xxx, 213-7xxx) on November 14.

MPT said the new numbers can be used for both voice calls and ADSL internet. Static IP at Alone area will be changed to Static IP Range (172.x.x.x) Network, so current ADSL users have been asked to contact MPT’s Information Technology Department, ADSL section
